What is a Diet Forum?
In case you've never visited a diet
forum before, it's a place where you can post comments about
dieting and weight loss. As soon as your diet message is posted, other
visitors to the forum will be able to see it and offer advice or suggestions
about the weight loss issue you mention.
When visiting a forum, you can either browse
the list of forum topics and postings (and remain an anonymous
guest), or you can register as a forum member and post messages
of your own. The best diet forum (see below) will allow you to post messages
even if you are not a registered member.
Use a forum to find yourself a diet
buddy
Suppose you want a diet buddy. By visiting a diet forum you can swap email
addresses with another dieter, and you can lose weight 'together'.
What Makes a Good Diet Forum
How fast is the forum?
A good forum is one that loads FAST! This is very important. Forums that
are slow to load do not usually attract many visitors.
How user-friendly is it?
Everybody (whether registered or not) should be able to access the
forum's topics and read the various postings. There's nothing more irritating
than having to wade through all the links to get to a forum only to be
greeted with "You need to be registered in order to access this forum"!!
Guest Participation
A good forum will allow guests to reply to other postings. Sometimes
Forum administrators forget that many people want to participate but for
some reason are hesitant to register.
Content
Last but not least. Ask yourself this question.
Does this Forum offer the information
I want?
If you can answer it with a resounding
YES, then you've found yourself a good forum!
